C'est si bon at Cafe Bon-Bon

Cafe Bon-Bon has been something of local institution in the past few years.

Besides the fact it was the only coffee shop downtown for a while., it has that special i of laissez-faire atmospere, comfy chairs and couches, and great coffee that makes it a "hub".

"I left seeing Bon-Bon in a new light-as great deli-sandwich, soup (they serve multiple varieties) and salad destination as well as a coffee shop."

Bon-Bons was near perfect as I've had in memory. It came piping hot, with a pickle and a side of potato chips, and was so tasty it didn't require ketchup supplement I usually include.

Try: The Reuben was really out of this world, but the most papular sandwich, according to Loubier, is the Marco Polo, Roast beef, fresh mozzarella, green leaf lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and red pepper pesto (sorry its basil pesto we use) on focaccia bread.

Quirks: if you go alone and are out of reading material, never fear-there's a bookshelf full of books and magazines to pass the time with.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS:
Phil Nadeau, Lewiston Assistant City Administrator has been eating here at Cafe Bon-Bon since we opened and he highly recommends the Vegan Wrap. Phil has been on a healthy eating diet and said "The Vegan Wrap has helped keep me on track".
Ed and his mother Luciene of Lewiston, say that the Bon-Bon has the best food in town. They know because they come in every evening for a build your own sandwich and the homemade soup. Luciene's favorite soup is the Tomato Garden Vegetable soup and Ed's favorite soup is the Butternut Squash and Pear soup.
Ron Textiera of Lewiston and Nancy Carrier of Lewiston. We have been coming to the Bon-Bon for over a year and love it. Ron loves the Wicked Joe Decaf French Vanilla coffee I buy the bottomless cup and stay for a couple hours to relax and socialize with others. Nancy comes in and sits in the comfy lounge chair and relaxes with a bottomless cup of coffee and a book. Bonnie and Joe are very nice people and work very hard to please everyone.
